We used to have Horny Toads all over the place. You couldn't take very many steps through a yard in the summer without seeing one.

It has been at least 10, if not 15 years since I have seen one of them little buggers. They have just disappeared. :puzzled:

I miss those little guys. :ball:

Ya know, Adam, I have been in Oklahoma since last August and I have still not seen a LIVE armadillo, only dead ones. Are they, like the proverbial chicken, trying to show 'possums that crossing the road can indeed be done? :)

I was in Tulsa to see my dad and they (armadillos) are all over the road. I hit one with my wife's civic

You mean all over the road ALIVE? Wow, maybe there is more of them in Tulsa than OKC. Or maybe they just haven't run them all over yet.

I have lived here since 1983, and saw my first LIVE Armadillo about six months ago or so. Have seen thousands of dead ones, but only one alive.

My challenge to you is to find a Horny Toad in this area...dead or alive.... :puzzled:....
