Cole - interested in both of the long arm alternator brackets as well as a horn set. Shipping to 55013. Will pm for payment. Regards, Buickstaged
Oops Just to be clear, when I first posted I said "I'm interested in the horns, maybe all of them". A few hours later when I had decided for sure to buy all of them I went in and edited my post. However, between my first post and my edit I had not noticed that Buickstaged had also spoken for one set of horns. I don't want to step on any toes so if Buickstaged wants a set of horns by all means sell them to him and I will take the rest of them. If he passes on them I will still take them all.
Bill if you find yourself needing any specific horns I have a "collection" that I would like to liquidate. Like you I live in Florida on the east coast by exit 180 of I-95. You can do a search through my old threads to see where I listed them previously. I am bad about checking in with V8Buick on a regular basis due to other committments, medical appointments, etc. which is why I am leaving other ways to contact me. Alan R. Thanks Al, maybe I'll give you a call one day. Being in the restoration business it seems like every car I do has at least one or both horns that don't work, so having extras on hand that do work is always a plus. Since I am almost out of them I thought I'd buy all of these from Cole. I've gotten pretty good at modifying the brackets to fit whatever I need them to.
Sounds good Bill. I have all sorts of stuff for 66 & 67 A bodies besides horns. I'm getting up in age so I'll be liquidating my holdings pretty soon once I get everything organized. I've been watching Ebay when it comes to horns and some are bringing big bucks. When I used to scrap cars back in the 70's I used to keep starters, alternators, clutch fans, window motors, horns , driveshafts and every nut and bolt that I pulled off of the cars I dismantled. I knew someday there would be a demand for this stuff but finding it hard to locate people who can appreciate the time and effort I put into maintaining these parts over the years. This is a great website for that purpose. I really hate listing anything on Ebay!
Here's a thread showing what I have in my "collection". http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?250580-Horn-Collection&highlight=4+note
