well had to replace the steering wheel and the horn wire is gone... I got a horn button from the store, but does anyone know which wire leading into the steering column is the horn. Would like just pull that wire and hook it to the button..

on most of these late 60s early 70s GM cars, generally the wire is black that runs up the column ...but its black w/blue tracer coming from the relay to the column... .. the horn button grounds the relay which connects the horns to the power wire.

at the relay, there is a RED wire that feeds the relay, a GREEN wire the runs to the horns, and then the BLACK w/BLUE tracer that when grounded , makes your horns honk.

    rotsa ruk!! :TU:
