Look at the photos and the list. Cleaning out my storage areas and finding things like this after dismantling and storing parts since the mid 60's. Offered locally on Craig's List (CL) for $450.00 but wanted to offer the collection on V8Buick in case there are people who like collecting car horns. Thinking there are 21 horns on the hood of my military truck, the four-note Cadillac system in the box with the correct wiring harness and the Trumpet Horn in another box with a 3-note wiring harness (only the trumpet horn in the box - no others with it). Not really intersted in breaking up the "lot" unless generous offers are made for portions of it that will add up to what i want for everything. Price of $450.00 does not include shipping and I do not ship internationally. I only accept Paypal IF the buyer sends the money as a "GIFT" or pays the "fees" on their end. Postal Money Orders are preferred and personal chacks are not. Prefer "local pickup" if at all possible. Entertaining respectable offers for the lot. Call for questions.

    List of horns for sale:
Delco Remy horn part numbers start with 90000; example, 90000492 then there's the manufactured date; example, 6L3; the first number is the YEAR of production, 6 = 1966; the L is the MONTH of production (L= November) and the 3 is the WEEK of production (3rd week). There's sometimes an H or L inside of a circle to indicate High or Low tone. Then there's sometimes a small letter, i.e. A, C, D, E. F, G etc. to indicate the sound or tone the horn will produce. Listed the horn collectin for $425.00 on oour local Craig's List so passing that along to members of the V8Buick website as well. Look up an Ebay Auction that ended recently for a set of Hi Lo, 9000 231 & 232 horns - closed at $118.50 with a $15.00 shipping charge and there were 25 bids on them! Of course the items in that auction were bead blasted and nicely painted - mine are not. I do have a few of those particular horns (#231 & 232) in the collection so look over the list and see what fits your vehicle. I will entertain respectable offers for the lot because I would like to see them go to a new home. If picked up locally from me here in West Melbourne I will offer a discount based on not having to pack and ship the collection. I am at Exit 180 on Interstate 95 in West Melbourne Florida.
