Hood hinges

Due to my hood hinges being slightly "tweaked" by an incident last year, I am looking for some new ones for my 71 GS. I plan on having them plated silver like the concourse cars do (love the way they look!). Does any one have a decent, complete, straight set for sale?

While I am on the subject of hoods, I need something else. You know those rubber bumpers for the rear of the hood that screw into the cowl surface? Well, no one seems to repop the correct ones, and I have tried the "dip it in ruber coating" thing. It did not last very long. I bought some rubber grommets from the CARS tent at Salem last week. He told me that they would work perfect, and were what I needed. THey did not, and went into the misc. parts drawer. Year One? Nope. Parts Place? Nope.

FYI the hood hinges on a 71 GS should be grey phospahte color not silver plated.

 

Thanks Dave. I knew it was some type of flat grey coating. Who plates them anyways?

 

That rear hood bumper always gets people stumped.
