Mine is not Strato mist. I have heard of one in OK. I believe that a board member in IL might have one as well.

CrashKlein, I've also heard of a Stratomist conv. in OK. I'd like to verify but don't have a name. Can anyone else help us out on the board with a stratomist blue conv.?
I spoke with him a couple years ago. He has owned it a very long time. It sounded like it was a driver that needed a resto. He did not have the original motor. He turned down $100k for it at that time. I believe his last name is Deluca. Do you still have the motor from yours?
John Deluca, and he lives very near me here in Tennessee now. The car is still in OK and was originally from NY. Yes, does not have the original powertrain.
Hi Steve, I was in no way being derogatory, and sometimes wish I had the wherewithal to post ads like you do, and buy some of the cars hiding out there. I wonder if it was a customer order.....built for speed with some air-conditioned comfort thrown in:Brow: Mine listed for about 5500, and was a Buick Zone ordered car. I spoke with the original owner, who said it was a Rose Parade car. When they were done with it, they sold it through Simpson Buick in Downey, CA. It's got everything except pdl, but I never lost a street race in it. Stripped down or loaded up, these cars are animals! Dan
Hi Dan, I thought that you might be being derogatory with the flipper part at first because some people dont think that cars should be sold for profit. But when you welcomed me, I didnt take it that way any longer. I appreciated your welcome. Thanks, Steve
How ya been Steve? They first have to be resized. If they are bigger than about 750 by 400 they will not be accepted. Under the Board tip section on the menu it tells you one way to resize. Once the pics are resized and saved under a name on your hard drive click on post reply, Describe the pic in some short text just like you were going to reply only with text. Then click on manage attachments at the bottom of the reply screen. It will go to your hard drive where the pics ar located. Double click on the pic and hit upload. Then go to the next pic and do the same. Once they are all in line on the upload screen click on reply.
It's all there (and it all needs redone), except for an original '70 BB fan shroud. I started a restoration on it many years ago and a family with 2 kids took priority. Its stored away in a shed with a concrete floor. It's been documented by WR and is on Marco's Stage1 Registry. Small pics (don't know how to resize) can be seen on page 20 of "Who's got a Ragtop" and "'70-72 cars" in Members Rides, also on page 20.
70 Stage 1 4spd convert This happens to be the only picture that I have. This was taken in FL where the car lived for the past few years.
Thanks Steve :TU: The red car was registered, but the information I had from Tom S. was incomplete. You bought it from him? Again, many thanks for helping keep the registry more complete. This project cannot succeed without the help of the owners. :3gears: PS - what's the cowl build date on the 48-A car? Is it 11B?
