I have never had anything but a stock Quadrajet and I have to admitt that I know nothing about carburators but the engine builder I'm talking to is suggesting a Holly 4779 for a mild build 455. The finished product is to have 410 HP and 510 ft/lbs torque. Anyone have any thoughts on this.
