Just something that should be checked if you are using a big Holley(in my case a 950 HP) with a Performer intake.I checked with JW and he had never seen the problem. In my case the dual pattern carb bolt or stud mounting holes had been mis-drilled allowing the carb to sit too far to the rear and too much to the right(passenger side). The rear carb barrels were encroached by at least a 1/4 inch "ledge" and the manifold center divider was off-center in relation to the carb by at least a similar amount.Serious mis-alignment especially when I am using a marginal manifold for my application(Stage 2 heads).Iam having the shop redrill the holes and fill the old with weld if necessary. Also going to cut down the center divider in search of a little less bottom and a little more top end. There was no mis-alignment with the trust old Q-jet.Be sure to check your setup! Anyone else seen this situation?Rod

I have been having the same problem with the TA intake on my car and the B4B on my wifes. Beginning to think its Holley's problem not the other guys. Everytime I change carbs or adaptor I have match the adaptor and carb to my intakes- doesnt matter which brand intake its on.
