    Madcat455 Need..more... AMMO!!!

455 or 350??? I went from a 800QJ to a 750 3310 on my 455 and it picked up. Was ok out of the box, but it picked up alot when I put the quick change spring kit on (Mine was a Vac. sec.).

Is yours a double pumper or Vac. Sec.???

    LIL carb help............

Hello Curtis...........out of the box carbs are set up with the secondarys really not able to open till high RPM's...........get a spring kit and maybe a quick change secondary housing cover........take the secondary housing apart and install like the long yellow spring........that would be a great place to start........Keep an eye on the plugs and tune the jetting from there.........It should do as good if not better then the q-jet when correct..........Thanx alot, Jesse @ BIGS:Smarty:

Curtis, isnt this the point, where youre supposed to give us your engine build up?
"Power tune" the entire distributor! :Smarty:
These treads may help some, and there is allot more to read if you use the search function on this board! Try type vacuum or ping

    Its worth reading. I promise!
A word of warning if you decide to recurve, the MRGasket spring kit will not give "all in underneath apox.3000rpm.
Im happy so far, smother idle and more power, I still got some small adjustments to do, and Im expecting even better result! :TU:
