I have no info other than prior owner told me it was used once to test run an engine. Appearance wise it looks almost as new. $200 shipped to US48 address. John
Hi Bryan, The carb is an aftermarket replacement for a GM 4bbl. I believe it is about 20 years old, but it looks like new. It was used to test run an engine once and then went back in the box. John
Well,,,, i eyeballed the pic's and about 1972 holley came out with those carbs,,,, as a direct replacement for the qjets.... they worked good,,,, I put one on a 1970 stage 1 and it picked up 3 mpg and ran better too.... It is a pollution carb.... note that the float levels are un adjustable,,, and the idle feed screws are capped with the plastic caps that restrict adjustment.... just realize what you are buying.... I am a long time holley man,,, the price seems good.... and the carb looks good on the outside,,, but you need to know what it looks like on the inside.... that is the most important....get pics of the inside float bowls and the secondary float bowls... and the list #on the air horn flange.....
does not look sold - free bump for ya . hey doc - can you morph this into a more traditional looking dual feed holley buy using say a "parts" #3310 for the end bowls and front metering block ? kinda knock the ugly out of it like holley shoulda done in the first place .
had a dual pump version but realized the vac secondary style might be an easier switch . for someone with parts carbs layin around maybe a cheap down n dirty mod . will check that kit out . thought they might be a nice "no adapter" holley choice for a small block or early 80's V6 with q-jet intake . sorry for the thread robbery . back to biz .
