Holley 4780-2 - 800 cfm Carb $200

This carb works great!! The choke parts were removed before I got it. I have Too many carbs, this one's got to go. This is currently is set up with Primary 74 / Secondary 85 jets and 5.5 power valve so it likes big cams. The Price is $200 firm plus the ride. It does not need to be rebuilt but could stand new meter block and accel pump gaskets.

Honesty, this carb came from my pal off his drag car BUICK 455 that is very close to my build. It was dyno tested and tuned then it was drained and removed. I bolted it on last weekend for sniffs and grins and fired it rigtht up ran perfectly and I did not touch any of the adjstments. I'm impressed with it.

I am not sure how it would work on your 350 but if you have over 10:1 compression, a giant cam and great flowing heads, it should scream but it is a lot of carb for most 350's IMHO

 

Interested. What cam/combo are you running that it likes, and how much of a pain is it to start on a chilly morning without the choke?

 

The Cam is TA 290-08H. It is 28 degrees outside and and it fires right up and holds idle without choke! I am quite impressed with it!
