I bet there's a steep reserve on this baby! This is as good as it gets! Get the popcorn out guys. Lets see what this one does!!! the holy grail
Jimmy, If you are reading this, and I am sure you are, you need to correct your email link in the ebay ad, you forgot the "a" in "aol". :TU:
Ive seen this car in person and it is truly one of the nicest ive seen, now if only i could win the lottery before the auctions end! But seriously Jim...dont sell it, i want to continue drooling every time i see it! :3gears:
Funny... When I click on 'View Seller's Other Items' it comes back with zero items for sale. o No: Usually, at least the current auction will show up as the one and only sale. Very odd. Possible scam or Ebay error... You be the judge.
Its NOT a scam. I know the guy selling it personally. Sometimes Ebay searches do not show up for several hours after posting. :Smarty:
I don't think it is going to be worth that much. In one of the pictures there was another GSX just like it in the background :error:
I stand corrected! :spank: You just can never be too careful these days. I wish your friend all the best in his auction. It's nice to see the rareties come up every now and again.
I think there are two more in the background! a yellow non stage/ auto and a white Stage 1/auto. Jim, the seller is our resident 66 GS nut :TU: . I think he owns one of every color that was available  This GSX goes as good as it looks too! Got a ride in it when Jimmy had it at the BCA nats in Batavia. Very impressive. I hope it stays in the BPG family
I own one exactly like this one except I put a Stage 2 engine in mine. My wife wants me to sell it but I told her she will have to kill me. lol :3gears:
Carefull man..if you own a car like that with a stage 2 engine somebody in here will be wanting to talk to your wife
There was a Buick dealer in Milford, Mass. that had a brand new white 1970 GSX with a 4 speed. I remember looking at it when it was new. The sticker proce was over $5,000, and it was way too much for a 16 year old with a dish washing job....... I wonder if that is the same car?????
.. Hey Paul....its not the same one from milford...but thats really interesting story....do you remember the name of the dealership?? Jimmy
... Brad...for your 200 dollars I will give you a ride in it... no burnouts thats costs more... :3gears:
Yup......Bertonazzi Buick on State Street in the center of town. They went out of business in the early 1980's. There was also a yellow GSX there at the time as well. Another Buick story: I worked at the GM assembly plant in Framingham from 1972 to 1974. One of my jobs was driving new cars off the line to the parking lot. I drove a 1973 GS Stage 1 car that was black with a red interior and a 4speed!. This car had every option available, and the sticker price was over $5K. Who ever ordered it must have had some money. It was a striking combination.
I got a bargain then! I got a ride in the backseat with John C (Skyhawk) at the wheel. John was doing his impression of Ronnie Sox! That was fun. I almost had to change my shorts!
