    Eric is showing me pictures of his grandmother's house here in Florida from 1967. Nice 60 Buick in the background.

    I noticed something that Eric never picked up on. Notice the plate.

    This is a picture of Eric's GSX. Notice the plate!

    He never realized that he used the plate off his grandmother's 60 Buick! He said he found them in his father's collection of license plates.

    That's very cool. I wonder how he swung that, or if it's just unofficial. I don't see NY letting you 1) transfer plates between cars 2) keep plates that old.

    NY allows you to use "year of manufacture" plates to register your classic car. The NY blue plates ran from 66-72. You can buy repro registration stickers on eBay with whatever year you like. If you notice on my GSX, the sticker is May, 1970. I chose May because it's my birth moth
