    Help! Stick-on-weights

I just had new tires put on set of alloy wheels, the kind that use the stick on weights.

What have you found works to get the old adhesive off from where the old weights were?????

You might try some WD-40! I know by brother has gotten adhesive off with that before.:TU:

If that doesn't work, try a heat gun or hair dryer.

6 years of balancing performance Prosche rims (for a bunch of arrogant doctors) and I will tell you.

Go to the tire shop, they have a chemical there nick named "Rubber Buffer". It is the liquid that they use to clean the rubber before the glue for the patch goes on. that... some paper towles and a little muscle and the stuff will come off. and it doesn't hurt the finish on the wheels either if you get sloppy.
