I just had my carb rebuilt because I was lacking vacuum and had no acceleration. While I was at it, I decided to change my spark plugs and wires and replace my radiator. After I replaced the plugs and wires, I began the radiator swap. I first wanted to flush my system, so I went through the steps and the car idled fine each time I had to start it up. After I finished everything, I started to take the car out for a test drive, and the car began backfiring and bucking. It's an 86 Regal with a 3.8 v6. I've went back over everything and cannot figure it out. The car ran fine before I changed the plugs and wires. I made sure the plugs and wires were right for the car and everything checked out ok. Any suggestions?

Go back over the firing order, you may have reversed a few plug wires. The firing order should be on the intake manifold. Locate the #1 plug wire on the distributor cap, then follow clockwise around the cap. Drivers side cylinders are 1-3-5, front to back, passenger side cylinders are 2-4-6. Hope that helps.

Definatly sounds like the firing order is mixed up.
