Hey all, ive recently bought a 64 riviera with a 66 401ci. I am having issues identifying the block as different websites have told me completely different things based on engine numbers/ engine paint. Sorry it's probably been asked many times but can someone please de-code and then look at the engine pics to clarify that it's a 1966 401ci (325HP). Thanks for the link for the shroud, will definitely install before summer kicks in especially living on the Gold Coast. And Thanks for clarifying those codes for me. There were quite a few conflicting pieces of info about the MT that I found but good to finally have a straight answer. Haha yep the chev steering wheel MUST go. I'll hopefully find an original riviera steering wheel on eBay. It's been sitting for the last 12 months after it was imported so I'll be taking my time and all precautions before kicking her in the guts. Hopefully have her on the road in no time.
