Trying to assist someone finding Mopar Dodge Part Number 1ME461DVAA Seat cover. One dealer told me it was just discontinued this month and could not locate any. Been through many internet searches. Some list it but when I call to confirm they do not have.
Thinking there should be one somewhere. Any late model parts people out there with an idea where to go from here?

    Thanks

Unless you 100% trust the abilities of your dealer I would first check with a couple other dealers to see if you get the same answer . Depending on year and model and since it's a soft trim part yeah it could be a little problematic . Does it have air bags in the seat sides ? That also can be a problem area . For awhile if we needed a seat cover etc for warranty we would have to order complete seat assy . Safety concerns . Also try parts locators at salvage yards . Vin# and trim code info will help . Be specific as to the condition needed if that's an area of concern . Good yards should be using vin info in their computer system . Nothing against the small local yards but it'll make the search quicker .

Tried to buy the seat back upholstery for my Magnum's driver's seat in the summah of 2016. The dealer would have been happy to sell it to me - it was available then - for something north of $650. They still have the upholstery, and I still have the deteriorated seam. I haven't gotten around to it as it isn't my highest priority, but I'll bet that I can get it fixed by an independent upholstery shop for a hell of a lot less then that.
