Help with bolt size?

    I misplaced my 2 cam bolts, I think I accidentally threw them out with my old cam. What's the size I need? 5/16 course thread, what I need to know is legnth? 1/2 inch long?

    Those are specific bolts....hardware store will be too long..they may have them in the hardened Allen button head tray....but yes 5/16 by 1/2in

    The factory bolts have a very thin head to eliminate potential interference issues with the fuel pump arm.
    If you use hardware store bolts with the stock style replacement timing set or a single roller timing set, you will need to make the bolt head thinner for clearance.
    If you use a double roller timing set there will be no clearance issue between the bolt head and fuel pump arm, however there will be clearance issues between the timing chain and fuel pump arm. I elongate the fuel pump mounting bolt holes to be able to slide the fuel pump forward to provide clearance.

    Ok, im not using a mechanical fuel pump, so I should be ok?
