Well I got my TA212 in and pulled what I thought was going to be a KB 118 out. However, it is a Lunati. Can some one tell me which one this is the markings on the end are

    Lunati 116
    SPI-230-245-G

Then on the cam I see:

    1231
    304

    Thanks, Jeff

Sounds like the SP1S, Super Street Stock cam that Keith Blythe used to sell through "Buick 1", 230* intake, 245* exhaust duration at .050 lift, .490 intake lift, .501 exhaust lift, 116* LSA. Designed for an all iron engine.

Thanks alot Larry, that is pretty good on the knowing your stuff scale. Are those lift numbers with 1.6 ratio?

    Jeff,
My Buick 1 catalog says 1.55 rocker ratio.

Thanks again Larry. I wanted to put it in Desktop Dyno and compare it the TA 212 that I just put in.

Seems like the TA 212 is a much milder cam. What didn't you like about the SP1S?

I really kinda liked it once I put in a 2000 stall converter. Of corse I had already bought the cam, lifters, timing gears, adj pushrods and new rocker arms for the swap. It would idle at 600 in gear with the converter. Once it got to around 2500 rpm it would really start to pull hard.
