I went to hook the clasp to the brake pedal and the rod is to short as it takes the pedal to the floor. The car is a 64 skylark manual drum that I have converted to a 70 disc brake set up. The booster I bought from a Classic Car Parts supplier in Mpls. It a 9 gold non stamped booster. Did they give me the wrong booster with a rod that is to short. I know about the rod length difference between the booster and the master cylinder.

If anybody has any ideas that would be great. My brother told me to get a threaded rod splice and make it longer. I just dont know about that approach. I shouldnt have to do that.

Thanks in advance for you help.
