HELP 1972 350 skylark in to a 86 REGAL

Did you ever ID your trans? I doubt that an engine with a piston that looked like that "ran like a champ". Good thing you tore it down for a rebuild! Good luck with it.

it should have a 2004r which will bolt directly to a 350

 

That was the 307 Olds piston. Hey, it's been almost a year since the last post by the way...

no its not a pistoon from the 350 buick, its from the 307 olds. other then that i bought another regal an 87 and i have the 350 chevy in it. ill get some more pictures and info how things are going.
