Hello All, I am new to the Board.
Live in Fairbanks Alaska and a Big Buick Fan.
Not too many other Buick people in Alaska that I know of, besides
    my Father and I.

I own a 86 GN Pt52 Aluminum heads, cam and the normal stuff. presently looking for a GSX or Stage car, even a nice convert would be fun. Any help would be appriciated.

    My Father has a WE-4 with the normal bolt ons + ta49, a 68 GS 4 gear with a stage 1 455 badged like a 400.

    Hi Dennis,
Now there are three of us. I live in Nikiski, about 30 miles north of Kenai. I am running a 66 Riv GS. I will be building up the engine this winter. I hope you have an easier time finding parts than I do.

If you come accross a 66 or 67 Riv in the boneyard let me know.

    We need snow also.

How many weeks can you enjoy a convertible in Alaska... I'm guessing not too many.

You know thats a good question, you dont see many ragtops in my area. I never really thought about it much. The winters here are pretty cold and I bet that the older styles wouldn't hold up to the snow load if they got left out.

Since I've owned the Riv it goes up on blocks in the garage about now and I don't take it out until the highways get swept. This usually means about 3 months of road time.
