HEI distributor install into 350. Which cylinder is #1 by the book?

I decided to notch out the intake manifold a little bit so the HEI can rotate through a little more range. I hated to grind into the freshly painted intake but I mixed a bit of touchup paint and brushed some over the cut I made with the die grinder.
