ok so i have a heater hose outlet on my radiator that isn't used and i have it plugged with the usual little black rubber cap that clamps on.
problem is these dumb little caps are plain rubber not reinforced and they crack apart every couple years.
anyone know where to get one that is reinforced like the hoses are. don't want to overlook this someday and it blow out on me cause they don't last anywhere close to as long as a hose does. don't tell me to put a hose on and stick a bolt in it not gonna happen

Well if you're sure you'll never use it for anything, just buy a copper or brass plumbing cap that will fit over it and solder or braze it on.

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

Brass plug will work just fine with a hose clamp.
