On my '67 GS there is a formed heater hose that runs from the heater core to a fitting at the back of the intake manifold. Does anyone have a part number for this hose? Has anyone purchased 1 recently? Where did you buy it? Thanks
Nobody repro's that hose. I've only seen 2 of them in 12 years, I bought one and turned another member here on to the other one. Before I found one, I was using a formed Olds hose that Fusick repro's. I actually wrote a thread here about it, but it was lost in the crash. I do have an excellent pic of one on the 'puter at my summer house. It's a really tough item to find.
Thanks Mrolds69 I have an old one but want to replace it. I actually found your old post about the Fusick one online. But doesn’t look like they have it anymore. WS. Not a heater core issue. Thx
Just sayin'... You might hafta make an "S" shaped manifold out of copper pipe, and install it with two rubber nipples. ADAPT!~ ws
Re: post #224 from Off on a Lark thred. Thats a 68-72 core with the angled pipe. Seeing your close up, that wouldve been just as doable. Geez; days gone by, you used to be able to look at pics in the motor parts books and say "That's it!!" and order one. Now mr. and mrs. Pacman need to know the year and model or NO-GO... I think if you had a radiator guy solder a 90* fitting pointed at the DS, the torque from the motor would tend to bust the joint. JMHO... you need that hose in there.. ws https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/carquest-by-dayco-molded-heater-hose-87624/19590272-P https://www.gates.com/us/en/fluid-power/engine-hose/coolant-hose/c/197 https://www.google.com/search?sourc...39j0i131j0j0i10j0i22i10i30j33i160.qXcMbNWUE6Y
