Heater hose bracket?

I've been monkeying around with the projects lately, Found a couple brackets that need a correct home.
The heater hose bracket I've seen before, it was mounted on the inner fender via a drilled hole.( Wrong I know) I assume it goes on the "stand" on the intake manifold.
Of course it broke as I tried to bend it to the proper angle.
The other "loop", does it go on the first intake manifold bolt or the second? And what is it holding on to?
    Thanks guys!

Yes, it does secure the heater hoses. Mounts to the boss/hole near the end of the first intake runner. On a/c equipped cars the upper compressor bracket would be bolted here. Pretty hard to find part, used second half of 1969 and 1970 only.

The other is a bracket used for lifting/transporting the engine on the assembly line. I think these were originally coated in a rubberized material similar to the coating on tool handles. If I am not mistaken, these mounted to the first intake bolt. I could be wrong though.

    Correct on all counts.

    Thanks to both Jims!
Was the heater hose bracket used on the 350 cars? I picked up 25 years ago what was described as a correct GS 350 intake, carb and air cleaner. That's the only way I can think of as to how it came to be in my possession?
My intake does not have a boss or hole as pictured above. It does have a "stand" with a bolt near the choke pull off....

So the Heater Hose Bracket was introduced when the heater hose moved from the back of the intake manifold to the front? How much would a used one cost?

I think I answered my own question by using the search feature! From what I gather there was one "short" version on all V8 non A/C cars in 1970 , and one "long" version on '71 & '72 V8 non A/C cars.
From a comment Jason made on that thread, I just broke an unobtanium part!

The heater hose brackets are extremely hard to find. Both of the brackets in your first photo were likely disposed of by most early owners the first time they got in the way of a repair. "Who needs these things?"

I had actually explored having the heater hose brackets made, but couldn't find a shop interested in producing less than 500 at a shot. Most I talked to said 1000 pieces. I think others here on the board are looking into reproducing them.

It can be carefully welded and put back into service!

Would an early 69 had the lifting handle?

Exactly. I'll gladly take it and repair it and make sure it goes to a good home.

I wasn't gonna throw it away, I'll see if I can get my ironworker buddy to weld it. If not James I'll talk to you about fixing it...
    Thanks for the replies.

Sounds good Harold. I think I have one left that is in good shape to make sure the angle is correct. If you need a pic, let me know.

Sure, post a picture of the angle would be very helpful. I kinda remember flattening it out 'cause I didn't know where it went. This was YEARS before V8Buick!
Does anyone have a picture of this bracket mounted on a 350? My intake does not have the "boss" shown in Jim Jones picture above? The "boss" on my intake seems like it might position the bracket under the air cleaner?!

Yes the air cleaner does partially cover it.

One of the engine compartment shots of the car in the link shows it pretty well.
