I am replacing my windshield and have a windshield to put in but it is a rear heated glass defrost and I dont need that in my car. Is there any way to remove these lines? I can feel the lines with my finger on the inside of the glass so they appear to be on the outside of the glass. The glass says "heated". There is a braided cable that appears to be soldered on somehow, maybe its some kind of glue I dont know. I have taken a razor blade and scraped the lines and I can no longer feel them, hardly at all but the lines all remain. I can see them. Is it possible to get rid of these lines or is it truly baked into the glass? thanks Gary
