headlight door holders 72 skylark

    im in need of a set of these for a 72 skylark,they are little plastic pieces that go into the core support and allow the headlight door to be screwed in.

    They are usally brittle and they break getting them out.Best bet is just to get repopped ones. several suppliers have them.

    I think there called stand off's:confused: Laters Tim:3gears: I have a whole box but the part that goes through the radiator support is about 1/16th an inch to small

    You Might want to change out your headlite bearings if you aleady have not done so . I used to be able to get them in bulk ,and sold them for like $ 3.00 a set of 12 shipped to the V8 board but cant get them any more. I think CARS Has them all for $ 20.00 a set

    if im not mistaken, most auto parts stores carry them in the "Help" products.

    Just ordered a set from "Cars" today. They had pleanty in stock. They have a
    on-line catalog.

    They "should" spread out to fit tight once the screw is put thru them.
