I have two sets of headlight aiming kits. Made by Hopkins Manufacturing. These are a must have to get your headlights perfectly aligned. I cleaned them both up, calibrated them and tested them on my car. So you dont have to worry if they work or how accurate they are. They work awesome. You can finally get rid of your "squirrel finders" One set has the adapter for ALL sealed beam headlights- both round and square-SOLD. The other set has the adapters for just ROUND headlights and the 4 square lights. But this one has a light intensity meter for testing the power of your headlights. Still works. They are $100 per kit shipped to the lower 48. Let me know which kit you want.
Jason I might like the set w/light intensity meter, but you are describing both set's for round & square............. Thank's, Lee
The one with the light intesity meter only has the adapters for the 4 small square lights but it doesnt have the adapters for the 2 large square lights.
ok so how do they work ? ---------- Post added at 06:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:35 PM ---------- oh yeh how did you fair from sandy?
Might be easier to add a youtube link- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOc6GYpGeXA Thankfully, I made it through unscathed. Only damage was a few sections of stockade fencing that needed to be repalced anyway. Thanks for asking!
My wife said she would not be comfortable having her head lights adjusted with this apparatus,.. Sooo Im out...........:TU:
Jason where did you get these & is there instruction sheet w/them? What about the slope of the garage floor? I'm deff interested. Or just tell us how you did your's. Thank's--Lee
You have to be on a level surface to start with. The adjusters are held on the headlites with suctioncups. You don't turn the lights on it's all done with the adjusters. Pretty neat the way they work.Well worth the asking price.
Ok, PM coming your way. ---------- Post added at 09:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:01 AM ---------- Lee- The instcructions are included in the set. You can go to the companies website and download/ view the instructions also. Yes, they attach with suction cups and use internal mirrors and levels to get the lights perfectly straight. I have a set in my toolbox that I use all the time. You wont believe how out of adjustment most headlights are. These are also the approved aimers for the NYS inspction program. The video I posted shows the aimers being used on a truck.
I'll take the other set as long as I can ajust the round lights on my 70 GS with it?????????? ---------- Post added at 03:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:49 PM ---------- Waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lee Bacon expressed interest in the other set, so he's up accrding to the rules. Havent heard anything from him , as long as he doesnt want them, they'e all yours. I sent you a PM
I'll take them Jason, tell me how to pay. CarolinaDrifter you can buy them from me after I adjust mine. Too bad we all live so far apart as we could all just share them. Thank's:Brow:

Both headlight aimers will be in the mail tomorrow. I checked and tweaked the cal on both prior to packing them up so they're perfect. Lee, PM coming your way
