Hey guys, anyone know who makes headers for the 64' - 65' Skylark 300 ci? I've seen the V6 and from 350 ci and up but nothing for the 300 any info is good! o No:
Looked on Poston and a couple of searches, man if they have them they are keeping them hidden! I'll keep looking see what I can find! Thanks man! Doug :TU:
I called and they said they'll have them in about 3-4weeks. You might want to call them in about a month to see where they're at w/ it.
Marvin, Cool did they quote you a price? I'd think if they made them/had them made for sale they would at least list them in order to take orders at least. Cool man thanks for the heads up! Doug
Just got off the phone with Poston's and they are in fact getting in headers in a couple months for the 300-340 cid, est. $375 for a pair.
so any update on this, poston isnt the most realistic on there etas, they like to give the same eta even after you called every month for 4 months lol
Mike, you are 100% right I guess you'd have to catch them at the right time. Last time I called they told me to call back in a couple of months. If I hear anything I'll keep you posted! Doug
Bob, that's a good idea, I thought the Rovers had one side that was a center dump (or collector which ever you perfer) and two pieced which I could be wrong but I'd think the stock exhaust would flow better numbers even before being hogged out. What do you know about them? Thanks, Doug
You might check w/Mike at T/A,i was talking 215 mini starter w/him a couple months ago & it sounds like he's getting into the Rover stuff:TU:
I thought the Rovers had one side that was a center dump when i say "Rover" i mean British Leyland/Rover aftermarket. those v8's were put into a lot of British cars. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rover_V8_engine
