Having trouble with the header gaskets on the sportwagon. 455 with poston headers and a 2 1/2" x - pipe exhaust. I keep eating the drivers side gasket primarily. Poston and Mr Gasket have not held up longer than a month. I have had them both plained/sanded after losing the first set of gaskets, and they still ate a new set. I tighten the bolts weekly, and all the usual stuff I have done on previous header equiped cars. Does anyone make a better quality gasket or a copper gasket? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Tony

    Hi Tony,
    Bummer about the header gaskets.
I'll do a little Q & A with our engine builder and get back to ya.
Got to keep those wagons runnin good :Brow:

    Later,
    Dana.

TA's metal core gaskets work great for me!
