head liner installation.

    I have just purchased a new headliner for my 65 Skylark GS. Any pointers on installing it????????

    Never done one but I plan on doing mine next spring. You will have most people tell you to have it professionally done, but if you are handy and get some tips from people who have done their own successfully you will be fine I'm sure. My anticipation of this task is that I'll need a friend to help (more hands) and much patience and attention to detail. A headliner installed too fast or shoddily looks like crap.

    I know how not to do it... don't try to do it in the car, it'll look horrible.
    Remove the hard-board and do it in your garage/basement/whatever, then reinstall.
