What is the best head gaskets when using 180hp Nos? No luck with Felpro. New deck on block and heads.

    I think I'd be going with Cometic's.

Well cometic will in fact be the strongest. But where is the gasket failing? Sure your not detonating it hard? I've sprayed 200 shot on stock metal gaskets with no issues yet.

I ran a fel-pro running a two stage nitrous which was well over 300 shot. Im guessing its not the gasket it may be the tune or poss machine work. my motor was around 12:1 and i ran 116 octane in it I did blow a gasket once when i was only running 110 octane

I've had copper o-rings and copper gaskets from TA Performance since 1998, and run lots and lots of nitrous since then.

Actually I've re-used the head gaskets several times (gotta heat them up before re-using them) and I'm up to about five times now I think.

Your block would have to be cut for the o-rings however.
