Hiho! For all my cars I've bought a haynes book to guide me thru my repairs. Sadly I havent been able to find a haynes book for a skylark custom -69, so if there is some tips of other books that can help me, it would be really apreciated. The more detailed, with pictures and so on, the better. A noob like me needs help if even just changing the brake pads All tips are wellcome! :TU:
Meet ... the Buick Bible for 1969 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969...006QQitemZ160230243042QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW ...or get it on disc and print the pages you need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969...005QQitemZ150237762423QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW :beers2: :TU: Edit - I just wanted to add that I HAVE NOT seen the disc version so I can not vouch for the clarity of the scans (I can almost guarantee that they scanned them from an original book like in the first ebay link). If anyone has seen the disc and wants to mention the quality of the material that would be great. Also note, the disc contains the Fisher body manual as well as the chasis service manual. There is a third factory manual, called the 1969 Assembly Manual and that along with the Chasis service and Fisher body make up the complete set of 3 pertaining to most things '69
Another one to look for would be the Motors Manual. Here's an example: http://tinyurl.com/3g7puf Here's the 1969 edition, however they usually cover back about 10 years or so and are not make/model specific. http://tinyurl.com/4lqmz5
I have a 1970 Motors manual that covers alot of 69 stuff too, if you need something specific I can scan it and email it or something.
