They remade the Skynard version. Its been getting a lot of air time here for a couple months. If you havent heard it, make it a point. Awesome. :TU:

I've heard the song, pretty good. Another good one by them is Fly From The Inside. They are a really good new band.

There is a movement for that type of rock right now.......If you like them,Checkout "Three Days Grace","Instruction","Crossfade",And "Trapt" to name a few that all sound similar.
The "Shinedown" CD is not bad start to finish,Just a little mellow compared to the noise that I listen to.

I liked a few of their other tracks....... the "Simple Man" track was not one of them though. I guess the original is better to my ears.

    Not Bad

    I have heard the song.It's a nice copy,but i prefer the original.
Seems like a lot of groups are copying older rock bands songs lately.
I've been hearing the Goo's Goo's copy of Super Tramps Give A Little alot. Why not just play the original song rather than the clone song? :Do No:

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....It's not something that just started, it's how music has always been...from led zep covering old blues tunes to nirvana covering led zep, leadbelly, david bowie, ect. to rap sampling every type of music to every big country star making a hit out of a nashville singer songwriter's little ditty.....

it's how a lot of bands form, covering music they enjoy.......
