In the last 2 weeks there have been (4) GSXs on E-Bay for sale......and they are some of the nicest ones you'll ever see. Two of these cars I know of personally, Al Fiandacas White 70 4 speed and now John Arangios Yellow Stage 1 concors car. Maybe these guys know something I don't know...but these are two cars I never thought i'd see for sale. Any OPINIONS on this.....guys ??????--------DO I HEAR A BIG "CHA-CHING" $-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$-$ :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970...4588435391QQcategoryZ6144QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-GS...4586815364QQcategoryZ6144QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...8169&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_ReBay_Pr2_PcY_BID_IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971...4589377871QQcategoryZ6144QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Fantastic cars! The sad part isn't that they are being sold. Both owners will get their money and two people are going to get great examples of muscle. Take note that John's car auction is listed as "Sells To: Worldwide" where as Al's is listed as "United States" To think that the number 1 GSX could end up leaving the U.S. is beyond crazy.
I know from reliable Buick people that these cars are fetching 100,000 finally, and on the way up....without going to B-J....just think...5 years ago there were restored X-s for under 40 grand....wait till you see concours 70 4 speed selling for 100-120 grand, soon....Look out Mopar guys..here we come!!!
gsx on e-bay ive seen john arangios gsx and it really does look like it just came off the showroom floor. absolutely mint condition.
GSX's As for me and my house... We will continue turning the earth for everyone to enjoy with our X... at least for the forseeable future. GSX Eric :3gears:
Gsx If I ever get my X back together it will stay right here with ME and when I die my son will take it and then I know for sure it will not leave unless he gets a deal on a GNX.
I think the way these cars are bidding up we are going to see some new record prices set here !!! Good luck to all !
Yes these will set new public sales prices. However, they will not approach private sales benchmarks.
A few years ago This guy Jackson from the auction house said his Stage 1 or gsx would be a $100k car! (no not a k car) Guess he knows his biz. I think he still has his buick in his collection. :Smarty:Sad to see them going but, not too bad to see some respect and recognition. Hope the new buyers buy it for love and not money :TU:
I told everyone years ago that this would happen and no one believed me. The GSX's have all the right characteristics, limited production numbers, stripes, spoilers, power, looks, etc. I'm glad I bought mine 10 years ago, I couldn't afford to buy one today. Duane
I paid $2k for mine! Of course, it does not matter where the value goes as I have no interest in ever selling it. And I pray that I am never in a position of having to sell it. I would be devastated.
Ken, The trick to selling one of these cars is to make sure it goes so far away that you never have to see it again. Duane
When we die... When we die we for sure won't see our GSX's again so...enjoy them while you can. If we sell them all we will have is a bunch of greenbacks to spend on something else that we think we will enjoy more than or GSX's which we will also be seperated from at death. So pick what you want to have and enjoy it while you can. GSX Eric :3gears:
These cars are coming out of the woodwork! I hope the escalating prices don't relegate a large percentage of them to non-driven museum pieces. These cars were meant to be driven! :3gears:
