Hi I am repainting my 71 stratomist blue with a white top,I am adding spoilers and a stage two hood scoop.I have a custom parts car that has the upper trim package that i plan on putting on my car ,lately I have been thinking about X stripes. I have never laid my eyes on this combo , so I not sure how it would all look together. any pictures and opinons are welcome.
Sorry no pictures but IMHO the stage 2 scoop would not look good with those stripes as they go right though the middle of it. Personally I think the stage 2 scoop looks like a bread box anyway...better off with a GS hood (looks great without saying boy racer and avialable in fibreglass to save weight). The stripes would look good on the color, but wierd with the white topI know there are pictures out there, you need to do soem searching online and see what you can find (I'll check too). The upper peak moldings would be ok withstripes...what you don't want is lines crossing and intrsecting each other at weird angles, that always messes the flow of the car up.... later Tim
