Has anyone ever changed there old header weatherstrip in for a new one?any problems with top closing all the way cause of new rubber? Thanks
There's adjustment in the latches which you'll have to play with. I was told, after installing the new rubber, to put a piece of regular copy paper between top and windshield and adjust JUST enough so the paper doesn't pull through but wants to rip
i`ve adjusted the hooks and seems like the top is sealed tight but i guess cause the weatherstrip is new the top wont completely sit on the header like it used to but when i look in that little gap the weatherstripping is there touching the header tight it seems. Thanks
