    I may need another harmonic balancer for my 455 Stage 1 motor. The one I have has a bulge in one area.

    Thanks.

    Rich;

    Do you have any photos of the balancer? If it is better than mine, I may be interested in it.

    Thanks.

    Tell me what makes one better than the other and I'll get you detailed pictures. Send me a PM with your email for the good pictures, they are 2 meg in size.

    Thanks,

    Rich

    I've got this one that's been on the shelf for many years, good condition. It's for the 400 and 430, not sure if it will work on a 455. The number stamped on it is 1380014.

    Len,
    Since you are going the complete route on your resto, do yourself a big favor and spring for a new damper from T/A or AM&P. Why take the chance on a used or rebuilt that you will have to balance to your engine anyway.
    Go for the $$$ "former homeboy"! Be safe. :TU:

    I got a used one that looks alot better than mine. It is going to the machine shop to balance it with the crank.

    I am trying to use some used stuff to save a little cash. Otherwise, they will have to bury me in the car instead of me being able to drive it. A little paint on it and it will be as good as new.... :laugh:

    I had mine rebuilt by the Damper Doctor in CA for $100. Not as good as the fancy new ones for $300, but probably better than a 35 year old one........
