   I know that this is probably a dumb question but will a balancer from a '69 400 work on a '67 400?

   The balancers from the 400-430-455 are the same, and will interchange, but there may be subtle differences in the balancers as far as weight placement that may or may not give you a vibration problem. It is best to take the 2 balancers to a good machine shop and have them match balanced. The short answer to your question is yes.
