The Temperature Control Levers are hard to move on my 70GS. I've actually broken off the little chrome plastic pieces trying to move them. What causes this and what can I do to correct this? Oh, the car has air, if that's important. I have replacement plastic chrome pieces but I want to fix the proble before I attach them. Thank you. Matt
Chances are the outer sleeve of the cable has cracked somewhere, causing it to kink. Pull the glove box liner out and you should be able to find the problem
If that's not it, I'm thinking maybe cable corrosion? Removing the cable assemblies and feeding them some penetrating oil might help too. Devon
