Hey Rick, I have missed your long, rambling emails as of late, you must be busy with the new house and shop! Have a Happy Birthday Buddy! :beer :beer :beer
Thanks guys! You're right Chris, I've been very busy lately. I stop in here about once a day or so, but I rarely read more than a thread or two, then it's back to work. Yesterday I decided I was going to take today off and get alot done around the house. It hasn't been going well.... might as well give everyone a chuckle.... OK.. so this is one of those houses, that when built, someone decided it would be "neat" to NOT put in any lights in the celings, and just make the light switches turn off and on the top outlets in each room for lamps. ou: SO.. I've been adding lights and fans in several rooms. Today was the master bedrooms turn. I crawl around in the attic and find the wall that the light switch is in. I need to feed a wire down to it for the new ceiling light. It would be MUCh easier with two people... but I'm home alone. So my plan was to knock out the back "knockout" in the switch box, stuff a bunch of wire down the wall, and then use a coat hanger to feel around behind the light switch (through the knockout) and pull the new wire to the box. Once I get it near the box, I could grab it with needle nose pliers and yank it through. I knew I would destroy a couple feet of the wire trying to yank it through the knockout like that, so I left plenty up in the attic. Anyways... I shove the wire down the wall, go back down into the bedroom, and on my first try, I get the wire with the hanger! I guide it over to the little knockout, and grab it with my pliers. I'm yanking and yanking (destroying the wire as planned) but it will only come in the box about 1". I get to looking at it..... it has green lettering on it. My new wire has black lettering. ou: ou: Now I've destroyed some other wire (god knows where it goes) and my new wire is still inside the wall. Remember, I'm working through a 3/4" diameter hole. I can't do anything. So I had to cut out a larger hole around the box, just to get inside the wall to fix my screwup. Now I have a 4" sq box where the 2x4 box used to be, and everything is wired up (and working!). All I need is a 4x4 cover with one light switch hole in it. I had about 10 things I wanted to get done today, and that one stinking light is all I've got accomplished so far. Oh well.... having a few friends and family over tonight for steaks on the grill and some beers. It'll be fun. Was that rambly enough Chris? p  Thanks again guys :beer
I figured you were out organizing your new shop. You won't get any new toys until you play with those you already have.

Ugh... Todays been pretty rough. Last nights "little bar-b-que" turned into quite the event. I predict I'll still be feeling it until about Wednesday. ou:  Thanks again for the well wishes guys. :TU: :beer Wise words. I learned my lesson last summer when we had 5 Buicks at once. Nothing got done! ou: Now I'm down to two 67's, and my Monza. I have a plan, and plan on sticking to it. Finish the Monza this winter so I can sell it next summer. Finish the 67 ragtop next. Most of the cash has been spent. I just need time to put it together. Then finally, by next winter, I should be able to get back into my tubbed 67 project. The only thing that could throw me off track, is if I were to find an awesome deal on an 87 GN. But it would have to be an awesome deal to get me sidetracked. :beer
