Happy Birthday! James: Sounds like the best excuse yet to go for a drive! :3gears: Have a fun (and safe) Birthday! :TU: Jim
Happy Birthday James. :beer Are you still planning to head up to Warroad, MN in July?? I've been checking into car shows around here, and there's a big one in Kenora, ON July 31. That's about 150 miles or so from Warroad.
Awww,....you guys! Thanks! I almost missed it myself... Grandma passed away last Sat, and I've been helping Dad arrange the funeral and settle the paperwork (She passed away quitely in her sleep, which was a REAL blessing, alzheimer's and all...) Anyway, I spent the better half of yesterday afternoon driving my Dad's '62 Ranchero home so I can drive it and get better gas mileage while we do the 455 thing for the 2NABOT. :TU: It's a very nice and clean ride, but no a/c, which is going to be a challenge, but hey, it's the price we pay for being so darned cool, right? :Brow: :bglasses: So Linda the Wonderful is planning a "late B-day" get-together at Sharon Allen's Steakhouse in Abilene this Friday, you're all invited! Beer's on me for anybody who shows up driving an old Buick! :beer Thanks Again! :TU:
Sorry to hear about your grandmother, but she's at peace now. And driving an oldie but goodie for half the day is not a bad way to spend your birthday - you can reflect on things as you go.... Enjoy your celebration! Wish we could be there but it's a tad far! :Brow: ShariB
Happy Birthday, James!!! I sent you a pm in regards to your last PM... For anyone who does NOT know James, he is a WONDERFUL asset to the Buick community. Thank you very,VERY much, James, for all of your help and patience. Happy Birthday :beer
Heck, you guys, I'm just another guy who's ate-up with old machinery.... :Brow: Thanks! :TU: And you're all still invited (especially Buckwheat!) to Lytle Land and Cattle, 1150 E.S. 11th, Abilene TX, 6:30 tonight, beers on me! :beer (tomorrow morning we can all go out to FM 600, my favorite wrecking yard!!!)
