Thanks guys. Had a great time, went to Quinn's Hotsprings (a really nice resort here) with the lady and a few friends and stayed the night. Haven't thrown up since my 30th, but I did it yesterday....I guess I'm on the 10 year plan. I've been keeping it on the down low around here, but my Mom got a huge custom cake made and sent to the dealership as a surprise. Everyone ate the Caddy right up, but left the Mach 1 alone. Opened presents yesterday, the girlfriend got me a original tooling dash for the Mustang to replace the repro in it now, and my parents got me a new wheel so I finally got rid of the Grant Challenger I put on when I was 12. Was blessed with 60+ degree weather all weekend. Couldn't wait, so I swapped the wheel on yesterday then spent the rest of the day cruising in the cars. Great time.....and yes, I don't feel any different then last week
Felt kinda wrong getting rid of the old Grant, but yeah, definitely needed an update. It was the very first thing I changed when I got the car at 12 in '92....lotta miles hanging onto that wheel, I've wrapped the odo twice.
I put my old high school cars lil 11" wheel on my bassboat , couldn't toss it. Lotta memories there too...Jim
