I was invited to a car club party, I am not in this club. I was asked to bring my GSX by the host. He owns around 25 cars. My car it an automatic, he is looking for a 4-speed. He wants Saturn Yellow, Stage 1, 4-speed car, must be numbers matching. He wants a real nice car and is looking to spend around $170,000. Anything that sounds good to me here I will pass on to him. Thanks Pat

Does it absolutely have to be a Stage car? How about the last GSX 4 speed made in 1970?

Are you saying you have #678, John C. has #677 and that is a 4-speed? Pat

Not really - I have 677 now, and from research, I believe 678 is missing in action. I have tracked 677 to the original owner and have the complete history of it now.

I did not know John sold the car. With you how many owners for #677?

For 677, I am the 4th owner. John was the 3rd. Met and talked with the original owner - She raced her "Yellowbird" quite often in the 1970s at the local track.

Does she know why #677 has front drum brakes instead of disc brakes up front?

I saw Jeff Sapps Old car is for sale. It is a Stage-1 4-speed but it is white. I would think for the money this person is willing to spend some other cars would be avaliable.

She did not mention this, but told me she bought it in November of 1970 because she and her husband liked the color. They liked Fords, and had no clue as to what a Buick was all about. I am not sure of number 678, but I think this may be the only one with drum brakes made. They work well though.
