Talked to a buddy today that was stuck in traffic outside of Cleveland Ohio the other day. When the cars finally started to move and he got to the cause of the traffic jam...What did he see but a Apollo White GSX mixed in with a few other late model cars in an icey road wreck:eek2: Can't say if it was a real one or a clone, But it was a GSX of some sort:ball: I guess someone should have told the guy that Stage1 torque and no studded snow tires is a BAD COMBO Anybody know the guy?
To his defense....It was real nice Friday morning. Didn't snow till after lunch. Mabey he was putting it away for the winter or thought he could get one more trip to work and got caught in the snow?
uh oh There is a NICE white GSX in that area, I hope it's not who I think it is...east or west of downtown? J
Don't know?? My friend who saw it works on the East side and was on his way home to Grafton(22miles West of Cleveland) I have seen on a couple different occasions a white Clone GSX on this side of town. Hate to see any old car crashed, But let's at least hope it was a clone
Either way, it is probably a "car guy" and I feel the pain. I will agree though, I sure hope it is a clone.
GSX winter beater To all concerned, it wasn't my car. Mine has been safely tucked away in the barn for over a month. I have never seen another white GSX in northeast Ohio (clone or original). I hope the guy and the car are OK. I hate to see classic iron destroyed in any manner.
There is a white 350 Skylark with GSX stickers, wing, and a GS hood that runs around out this way. I have seen it in Vermillion and a couple other places. Not sure it would rank as a GSX clone as much as I would call it a Skylark with the GSX stuff added on. Glad to hear your is tucked away safely for it's Winter hibernation:TU:
OK here's the latest details from Rick 1. Accident was on I-90 westbound about 185th 2. Friday evening 3. Definate Stage 1 emblems 4. Front end damage Rick was rubberneckin' while driving and was gawkin' at the rear spoiler so wasn't able to tell me what state plates or if the rear plate was low mount(1970) or center mount (71-72). He said it had Buick ralley wheels. Said if it was a clone it appeared to be done right with all the correct looking stripes and a GS hood.
If there were definitely Stage 1 emblems, it was probably a clone. The only "Stage 1" indentification on a GSX is on the air cleaner. Jeff
