Hello, Any hard facts out there regarding the front GSX spoiler? As in does it kill some of the top end MPH or does it help or no difference in a 1/4 mile run? Tom W

I don't KNOW for sure, but it seems that I remember reading here that it actually helps your ET a little. Especially on cars with quicker ET's (because of the higher MPH)
I'm sure someone with experience will chime in soon.

I am buying one of Duane's that I ordered last year but ended up with another that came with the car. Duane is going to BG and so am I . I perhaps could intercept it from being mailed and ask Duane to bring it to BG where I can pass the extra on to you if you are interested and coming.

Yes, a front spoiler from the GSX does help your e.t. and m.p.h. I think Rick Martinez did a test?

Sorry for miss understanding, I have had a spoiler on the front for years and I keep going faster ET wise but MPH don't increase. I used to run the same MPH numbers at 11:80-11:90s before I changed car into GSX clone, it was just a rusty old gold skylark without front or back spoilers. Saturday I ran 11:31, 11:36, 11:37 without any wind and MPH was 114 eccept on the 11:31 pass was 115.5 MPH. On days without a head wind it would go high 113 to low 114 MPH range at 11:80s-11:90s, my 1/8th mile MPH has come up alot the quicker I go but finish line MPH is about the same, That is what got me wondering about the front spoiler. I have considered making some clear plexiglass covers that I can put on the grille to cut down on air going through the car but I am worried if water temp would get to high on warm days. Tom W
