Just to clarify the car show responsibilities, The Carolinas Chapter registers, looks for mods, classify and parks the cars. The Chicagoland Chapter judges the cars and the Indiana Chapter handles the awards portion. All are volunteer jobs.
WOW - Like I said, there were some really fast Buicks out there. That's why I asked about the qualifying ladder, I was wondering if a 9.57 was enough... ---------- Post added at 11:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:43 AM ---------- Thanks John, It's good to know who the volunteers are so we can thank them for their work...
Anyone have an actual car count.. or is it an assumption that the count was up because there were no pit spots left? If judgement was made off of the lack of available pit spots they would be miss lead... being the pits were full of TENTS!! What is up with that?? Then the trailers that belong to the cars that are under these tents are also taking up space!! :af: Danie'
From my experience, you'd have made any Buick Quick 16 field I've ever been involved in, at any Buick event, with one exception. I ran at Norwalk several years ago when the bump spot was right at 9.50.
Not yet. They're in my briefcase, which is in my trailer, which is 20 minutes away. As soon as I get over there, I'll post them.
I'm sure a bunch more rolled in Friday or sat AM and missed Fri qualifying. I was going by the schedule that showed last qualifying at 1:30pm. Even driving all day couldn't make that. Definately a 9sec field.......or would have been.
No....You were gone. If you can save it for me that would be fine (XL). I'd love to get one. I also plan on going to Norwalk and BPG if you go to either of those events I'll get it there. Otherwise I can get it at the next GS Nats. Thanks...
