My ralleye steering wheel is 14 7/8" diameter. I read in another post that the ralleye wheel is typically 16" diameter. Is mine a unique one, or not a 1970? The car is a 1970 Stage 1 car, early build (09C). Curious for input from you experts out there. Thanks,
Ross, We generally call the 69-70 wheels 16" and the 71-up wheels 15", and this would be measured at the outer edge. Both use a thin grip, with a steel band, and have finger grips along the back side. Now I don't know the exact dimensions, but "within reason" that is what they are. The 69-70 wheels are easy to tell apart. They look like you got a small spoon and carved out a small cresent shaped piece out of the inside curve of the front face. The 71-up wheels would be circular in circumference, between the finger grips. Sounds like you have a 71-up wheel. Duane
