Les,..interested in head gaskets...mcCord & GM... how much for the org. GM's and whats the compressed height on them... thanks jerrold,..
Jerrold, The compression height is around .028" plus or minus .001" or .002". The price for the GM pair is $90, send me your e-mail and I will send you an image of them. FYI-The GM ones were made for them by Mc Cord. Les Otte
Les,..I thought steel GM org.'s compressed at .020"...at least the last one's I bought did....at 7yrs ago.. OK,... I have to think about these McCord's are they any good... What;s total shipping costs for the McCords to Michigan, 48174 thanks..
Jerrold, I will check on the shipping cost tomorrow and get back to you. On the thickness, .020" is the NHRA spec for the 70 GS455. I will do more checking, however, all the ones I have used check are about .028 at the seal around the cylinders, they are thinner at none seal areas of the gasket. Will also provide images of the GM gaskets. The McCord gaskets over the years all seam to be of the same quality. They are on my NHRA "D" and "C" stocker engine at over 13 to 1 compression. Les Otte
Dan, The Koni shocks are adjustable, and are currently set for how I used them on my 1970 GS Stock Appearing and 1970 NHRA "D" Stock Eliminator cars. Les Otte
Jerrold, Attached are the new images of the head gaskets. The GM packaged ones have both a GM number of 1236030 along with a McCord number of Mc6824. Will get back w/shipping cost. Les Otte
Les ,...as posted in my post #4...interested in McCord & GM gaskets... I decided to take 2 sets of your McCord gaskets...PM was sent earlier tonight.... for shipping cost.. thanks jerrold..
Les, Intersted in your shocks. How much time/trailering on them...and I see front and rear, is that what your selling? Front and rear both adjustable? Thanks Glen
Glen, I sent you a PM. The front and rears are being sold together. Both front and rears are adjustable. As noted above they are set/adjusted as I used them. Les
